Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwala MD, DM – Cardiology from prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in 1997.He received extensive training in Interventional Cardiology. He was Senior Resident –Cardiology at P.G.I. Chandigarh for 3 years and later he joined Apollo Hospital - Hyderabad as Interventional Cardiologist in 1998.He has published several papers in various international journals of repute. Dr. Manoj has teaching exposure in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at P.G.I. Chandigarh and is involved since 2001 in teaching Cardiology for DNB Candidates. Dr. Manoj has interest in continuously updating with current happenings in the world of Cardiology. In last few years, he has done complex angioplasties including Left Main, TVDs, Bifurcations, Primary Angioplasty, Structural heart interventions like TAVR, TMVR. Dr. Manoj has special interest in Aortic Aneurysm stent grafts, Carotid and Peripheral Vascular Interventions.

September 1998 to Present: Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Director Intervention Cardiology at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad a 550-bed tertiary care centre. It has over 50 medical and surgical disciplines. Spread over a campus area of 28 acres, the hospital has a built-up area of 190,000 square feet. Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad handles close to 100,000 patients a year. International patients from Tanzania, the USA, the UAE, Kenya, Oman and neighbouring Asian countries are treated by the hospital every year. He is a visiting faculty for the university Hospitals in Tanzania and Zambia. Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad is a JCI accredited Hospital. He has been a guest faculty in various national and international conferences.
Areas of special interest have been interventional cardiology. Research activities have lead to more than 50 publications and paper presentations at the national as well as international level.
